DESIGN BENEFITSCan be turned 180 degrees to facilitate cleaning of the outside pane, as all sash movement is external to the frame, this results in no damage to curtains, blinds or objects on the sill.
As the sash is hinged and supported on both sides, this allows larger than normal openings to be considered. In view of the superior technology, it is our view that a Fully Reversible window is always preferable to a Top Hung.
Ideal choice for multi-storey building where cleaning and painting present Health and Safety issues.
A safety restrictor is built into the hinges as standard, which initially restricts movement to the first 100mm of opening (for windows taller than 600mm).
Can be painted or stained externally with one colour, with an alternative colour used internally. A natural wood finish is often used internally so as to blend with the natural wood sill or floor.
Powder coated aluminium clad version available in any of the RAL colours. Such cladding makes the window virtually maintenance free, certainly comparable to uPVC.
Glazing bars can be supplied as externally positioned powder coated aluminium, or painted/stained timber. Glazing bars can also be specified within the glazing unit.
All windows, of all types, are supplied with an aluminium bottom bead to minimise maintenance on areas where moisture may lay. This bead is supplied in either a mill finish, or powder coated to match the frame.
Can be specified to comply with BS7950 'Secure By Design' accreditation.
All windows are manufactured in 5mm increments, so a design is not compromised by the standards set by other window manufacturers.
Trickle Ventilation can be specified to the head of the frame.

NOISE ATTENUATIONOur standard triple glazing, gives a noise attenuation of 35dB RW (30dB RW +ctr)
Fully Reversible Windows can achieve upto 40dB RW using one of our acoustic solutions. Please contact the office for further details.
For schemes where noise attenuation is of major importance, please look at our '2+1' window which can achieve levels of up to 44dB RW. |
